UPDATE: In June we also launched our second round of Community Grants to support and center Black lives. Our first 6 grantees are Black-led LGBTQ+ organizations that focus on women and address systemic racism by organizing to end police violence, provide legal counsel, policy development and mental health services.
The Tegan and Sara Foundation are honored and excited to announce the recipients of our 2020 TSF Community Grants! These 23 organizations across the U.S. and Canada are directly responding to the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their community through arts, education, mental health support, and more.
Thank you to all these incredible partners for your inspirational work. Reading through these submissions was a moving reminder of the incredible grassroots work happening in communities across North America, and why we began doing this work to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ girls and women.
