Friends!
Tomorrow I fly to Toronto for Canada Reads! I”ve spent all week in LA and Vancouver preparing my defense and resting up! I’m super nervous and hoping to be a strong convincing voice for ESSEX COUNTY. I truly love Jeff Lemire’s book and I promise to give it my best! Stiff competition! Debate city!

This morning I was cleaning my coffee bodum and suffered a freak injury. My mom let me run my 60 second defense for Canada Reads while we waited in the emergency room. It was actually a pretty fun adventure. Not thrilled with the white bandaged aesthetic…but…i still have a finger…so, I’m not complaining!
It’s been a great month of traveling and relaxing and reading! Now its time to get back to work! More exciting news coming soon!
