We are thrilled to be announcing that Tegan and Sara will be playing LoveLoud festival on June 29th at Usana Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah, with Kesha, Martin Garrix, Dan Reynolds, Daya, GroupLove, Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers, K. Flay and PVRIS (more bands and speakers to be announced in the coming weeks)!
LoveLoud aims to bring communities and families together to help ignite the vital conversation about what it means to unconditionally love our LGBTQ youth. Last year I had the pleasure of attending and speaking at the festival and it was the highlight of my year! The energy from the event is still crackling around inside my heart. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced as a LGBTQ person or as a musician. The vibe was truly unique and I found myself moved for months afterwards when I spoke about my experience there.
LoveLoud raised a million dollars at last years festival for LGBTQ organizations including Tegan and Sara Foundation, Trevor Project, Encircle and more than a dozen other organizations doing great work to support LGBTQ youth and their families in Utah. This year Tegan and Sara Foundation are thankful to once again be one of the major beneficiaries plus we’ll be performing!
We’ve been off the road for over a year now and couldn’t be happier to be coming out of hibernation to join this incredible bill of artists and help raise funds for the LGBTQ community.
