Hey everyone!
First off I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who visited the Revel and Riot booth at San Francisco Pride this past weekend! We had an amazing time selling shirts and talking about LBGTQ stuff with you guys! I even got a sunburn! So I won’t be forgetting Pride for at least another week! Ha. A big thanks to everyone who came out to the Revel and Riot pre-Pride party as well! We danced our butts off and you all were so sweet! All of us associated with R+R appreciated the support and felt the love! San Francisco Pride was the best I’ve ever attended!
Speaking of Pride – my heart swelled with pride when gay marriage became legal in New York State this past week. Sara and I believe in equality for all people. It blows my mind and saddens me greatly to think that in so much of America and the world that Sara and I and so many people we love and respect are not considered equal under the law. Let’s change that for everyone! Get involved you guys!
In other news:
Sara and I are working hard at rehearsals this week for our Canadian tour dates next week! Feeling very excited! Have a few surprises up our sleeves! Hope to see a lot of you out there! I had the pleasure of meeting iO Tillet-Wright in LA and be photographed by her for a really amazing project she is embarking on! Be sure to check it out! Maybe she’ll take your photo on her travels!
Finally, I hope everyone has had a chance to check out our latest installment of 2011: A Merch Odyssey! The sticker slogans were my idea, so I am glad you are responding so well to them!
